When Sarah and Gavin first met, confusion wasn’t just in the air—it had a VIP seat.Gavin had been invited to a Padres game as a last-minute substitute for a friend, thanks to their mutual friend Kristen. The plan was simple: meet up with Sarah and Carrie, enjoy the game, and call it a night. Easy, right? Not exactly.The game ended, but that’s when things really began. Gavin walked away completely smitten—like, already-picturing-their-future smitten. Meanwhile, Sarah’s “gaydar” was going off at full volume. In her mind, she hadn’t just met a potential love interest… she had just met her new gay best friend. Iconic.So there they were: Gavin thinking he was batting a perfect 1000, and Sarah blissfully unaware, already planning friendship bracelets.But here’s the twist—because of that hilarious, all-time-great miscommunication, there were no nerves, no pressure, no trying to impress. Just two people being completely, authentically themselves. We invite our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Think cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates for women. For men, a suit or dress pants with a button-down shirt and blazer are encouraged; a tie is optional. Please avoid jeans, shorts, T-shirts, and athletic wear.
